How to burn an organic candle properly?

Make your candle burn longer and even
The better you take care of your candle the better the candle will last you and burn even and properly. The first tip we would like to give is to take the time for the first burn. Make sure you are home for the coming hours. When you are having a relaxing day at home is the best day to start burn your organic candle.
Place your candle on a heat resistant surface, light the candle and let the fun (smelling) begin.
After you light the candle in a safe environment, you can actually do whatever you need to do without leaving the candle unattended.
Make sure you check up on your candle regularly. The melting circle will get bigger and bigger after approx 4 to 5 hours. Keep in mind that the glass may have become very hot. By the time the melting pool has fully been reached, you can consider the first burn to be ready. We would advise you to extinguish your candle. Use Candle Salon's Wick Dipper to extinguish your candle without the wick smoking. Dip candle wick into molten wax, lift and center. This process of quenching the wick eliminates wick smoldering and adds fuel to the wick for relighting.
Allow your candle to solidify for the next burn. Make sure the wick upright, above the wax and central before you light the candle. Always trim the wick to 5mm before lighting to avoid smoking and damage to the glass
Because you already make sure the first burn was correct, you do not need a longer burn this time. But Never burn candles for more than 4 hours at the time or less than 1 hour.
And don’t forget to keep candles out of the reach of children and pets.
