DELIVERY & RETURNS

DELIVERY POLICY

General Information

All orders are subject to product availability. If an item is not in stock at the time you place your order, we will notify you and refund you the total amount of your order, using the original method of payment.

Delivery Location

Items offered on our website are only available for delivery to addresses in the Netherlands with DHL. Candle Salon also accept orders from international customers who are shipping to addresses in Europe, Asia, Africa and the (south) America with DHL.  

Delivery Time

An estimated delivery time will be provided to you once your order is placed. Delivery times are estimates and commence from the date of shipping, rather than the date of order. Delivery times are to be used as a guide only and are subject to the acceptance and approval of your order.Unless there are exceptional circumstances, Candle Salon make every effort to fulfill your order within 3 business days of the date of your order. Business day mean Monday to Friday, except holidays.

Please note we do not ship on sundays. If we will not be able to ship your order, during holidays, we will communicate this on our webpage.  

Date of delivery may vary due to carrier shipping practices, delivery location, method of delivery, and the items ordered. Products may also be delivered in separate shipments.

Delivery Instructions

In case a signature is necessary to collect your order, you will be informed in advance.

 

Shipping Costs

(International) shipping costs are based on the weight of your order and the delivery method. To find out how much your order will cost, simple add the items you would like to purchase to your cart, and proceed to the checkout page. Once at the checkout screen, shipping charges will be displayed.

Orders of € 30 or more for the Netherlands are free of charge. Below this amount the shipping cost will be € 6. Additional shipping charges may apply to remote areas or for large or heavy items. You will be advised of any charges on the checkout page.Sales tax is charged according to the province or territory to which the item is shipped.

Damaged Items in Transport

If there is any damage to the packaging on delivery, contact us immediately at contact@candlesalon.com

RETURN POLICY

At Candle Salon, all of our products are carefully inspected before they are shipped. Due to the nature of our products used candles cannot be returned or refunded. However, we will replace or refund products damaged during shipment if photographic proof of damage is submitted to Candle Salon within 7 days of delivery.

In the event the package is damaged during shipping you may return your unused candle(s) for a full refund of your purchase price, less shipping and handling within 14 days of delivery. Please contact us at contact@candlesalon.com for further details.

We will grant you 14 days to judge if your purchase is satisfactory. Within this period you can return the product. You can take a close look at the product just like you would do in a shop and test if it lives up to your expectations. If you have your doubts whether you can still change your product then please contact us on contact@candlesalon.com

If you are not all satisfied with the product, we can also exchange for another candle. Please contact us first to get the return instructions before sending  it to us in the original packing and unused. We will refund your money excluding the original delivery costs within 14 days. You have to pay yourself for the return shipment.
